Authentic PEI Experience
We’ll “paca” lot of learning and fun into your visit behind the scenes. You’ll get to hear an alpaca hum (that’s one of the many sounds they make), see how they interact with each other, and discover all sorts of interesting facts. Did you know alpacas don’t have hooves? They have padded feet with two toes. They don’t have upper teeth, either! Each tour is personalized to your group’s age and interests and includes a trip to the Fibre House where we demonstrate the process of spinning wool into yarn.
While alpacas can be friendly, we ask that you respect their distance and not touch them. This event is offered daily from mid-June to end of September and select weekends in the shoulder seasons.
What to expect
Enjoy a guided, interactive tour of our farm. Learn about alpacas and the fibre they produce.
No two tours are identical so come back often. All tours include a visit to our Boutique where you will find our custom milled alpaca yarns and crafted alpaca products. Please note that this is not a petting zoo experience; however, participants will have the opportunity to interact with our animals while they engage in normal daily activities.
Tours run rain or shine so dress for the weather when you plan your visit. Tour group size is limited to optimize your experience and not place undo stress on our animals. Please leave your pets elsewhere as we have no shade parking and pets are not permitted on the farm. Service animals are welcome in our shop but not permitted elsewhere on the property.
We reserve the right to cancel tours if circumstances place our staff, our animals or our clients at risk. In the rare event that a cancellation cannot be rescheduled at a convenient time, a full refund will be provided.
Note, we are a working farm and there is farm activity and equipment movement throughout the day. Please schedule your travel to arrive not more than approximately five minutes prior to your tour time.
Living in Ohio
We have been purchasing alpaca bedding and clothing products from Canada for twenty years. So fond of Canadians.
Just recently discovered GGA online. First order included socks,
gloves, and headband. High quality alpaca for sure.
Wonderful website. And story.

I wondered if it was the right choice for my socks and was QUICKLY satisfied with the softness of the yarn and the amount of yarn. Made more socks with that one skein than I had imagined. Worth it? Oh yes, absolutely. They wear well and warm toes. I will want more.
