Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in the original packaging.

A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a few business days. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again

  2. Contact your credit card company (posting times can vary)

  3. Contact your bank

If you’ve done all of the above and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@greengablealpacas.com.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale or discounted items are final sale.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email info@greengablealpacas.com before sending anything back.

Returning Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return once the item is received.

If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will not be reimbursed.

For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Shipping Policy

Order Fulfilment

Orders are generally fulfilled within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after your order confirmation email is received.

Orders that include custom-dyed yarns may take up to 10 business days to fulfil. When delays are necessary, you will be notified by email with an estimated fulfilment date.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped. Tracking information will be included where applicable.

Domestic Shipping (Canada)

Canadian orders are shipped via Canada Post or a commercial courier, with rates and estimated delivery times displayed at checkout.

Shipping rates are based on the size and weight of your order, your delivery destination, and the shipping option selected.

Farm-Gate Pickup (PEI Only)

PEI residents may select farm-gate pickup at checkout. Please contact us after placing your order to arrange a suitable pickup time.

United States Shipping

Orders shipped to the United States are fulfilled via courier services only.

Courier shipments require a physical street address. PO box addresses cannot be accepted.

Canada Post is not used for US-bound shipments due to current customs processing requirements.

International Shipping (Outside Canada & the US)

We offer international shipping to select countries where reliable tracked service is available.

Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and are based on the size and weight of your order, your delivery destination, and the shipping option selected.

A $2.50 handling fee is applied to all shipped orders.

Import Duties, Tariffs & Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties, tariffs, customs fees, and local taxes once the shipment reaches the destination country.

These charges are not included in your order total or shipping cost and are assessed by the destination country’s customs authority at the time of import. Payment of these charges is the sole responsibility of the purchaser and is typically collected by the carrier (courier or postal service) at or after delivery.

Green Gable Alpacas does not collect, control, or reimburse import duties, tariffs, or taxes and cannot predict what these charges may be, as import regulations and tariff policies can change without notice.

Order Tracking & Delivery Issues

When your order ships, you will receive an email notification with tracking information where available. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear.

If you have not received your order within 10 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@greengablealpacas.com with your name and order number.
