Authentic PEI Experience
Step behind the scenes of our working alpaca farm for a memorable 90-minute journey into the world of alpacas, fibre, and storytelling.
Meet our charming alpacas, learn where they come from, and discover how their fleece becomes luxurious yarn. Psst: It's milled locally and hand-dyed right here on the farm.
Then, try your hand at spinning with a drop spindle, guided by the farmer-dyer herself. It’s a hands-on, heartwarming experience full of fun facts, fibre lore, and a few good yarns along the way.
This experience is offered Mondays to Saturdays from mid-June to Labour Day, and select Fridays/Saturdays in the shoulder seassons.
What to expect
A guided, interactive tour where you’ll meet the herd and learn about them, and the fibre they produce
No two tours are alike - return guests are always welcome!
Every tour ends with a visit to our boutique, featuring our custom-milled yarns and other alpaca goods
This is not a petting zoo experience, but you’ll have the opportunity to interact with alpacas as they go about their normal day

These two yarns are so soft and held together they are a lovely mix.
I am working on a kimono coat and with the suri silk held double with the royal birch the gauge is working to the pattern . will send a picture when it is finished.
A gentleman in a fishing store recommended Alpaca Sox for fishing in cold water with waders. He was not wrong. These sox are toasty and cushion my feet during a long day of approaches and wading.
This was my third purchase of alpaca socks. The first pair I "gambled" on was direct from the Fiber Fest in Canada. I live in the south, USA. Second third times were online. In the mix of the third order I "gambled" again on a pair of Boot Socks. I am disappointed...that I did not order at least TWO pair of them. LoL. They might be my favorite. Although the Storms are great as well. Good socks! Good times! Happy feet!
