Experience life on our farm in this Authentic PEI Expereince.
Grab your gloves and pick up that bucket; join us as we complete our daily chores. A half day of hands on alpaca farming, including morning chores, herd health, halter training, and/or fibre sorting.
Participants will work side by side with farm staff to complete routine daily chores and then participate in the scheduled farm activity for the day ie) putting in hay, breeding alpacas, halter training, fibre sorting etc, all while learning about these animals and their needs for producing a quality annual harvest.
Closed toe shoes are required, all other supplies and equipment provided. Not suitable for children under 13. Minimum 2, maximum 4. This experience is offered select mornings in July and August.
Any cold weather activity my feet are always cold, even in thick, insulated boots. Took a chance on these and my feet have been warm the last 2 days hunting in 20 degree weather! Finally!
