Suri Silk | Lace Weight Yarn | Buttercup

The colour of this yarn is unbelievably gorgeous. It reminds me of the beautiful sand on PEI beaches. I am planning on knitting a hat with another PEI yarn and the colour matches so perfectly. I will be buying more of this very soon.

Beautiful and soft yarn. The colour is perfect. I and my friend who bought the same, but a different colour will be back to buy more for our next project. We love it! 🩷

I am working on a kimono coat and with the suri silk held double with the royal birch the gauge is working to the pattern . will send a picture when it is finished.

This is a wonderfully soft gorgeous yarn. I am using two strands of it with a fingering merino yarn and it’s really beautiful. And NOT itchy. That’s the main thing for me. I love the look of a fuzzy mohair in some sweaters, but regardless of the price point of the yarn, I find mohair itchy. The Green Gables alpaca lace is not itchy at all and feels lovely next to skin. I would buy it in more colors……

I 'm in love with this beautiful suri silk yarn. I love alpaca fibre and can hardly wait to get this gorgeous yarn on my needles. I've been searching for Canadian Alpaca farms that produce yarn, as I would much rather support and keep my $ in Canada.
