Drop In - Alpaca Afternoons

Enjoy Friends, Fibre, and Fresh Themes Weekly

Cost:

$8.00 per person

Duration:

3h 30min

Schedule:

Wednesday afternoons in July and August

Drop in on a Wednesday afternoon this season, from 1–4:30 pm, and soak up the gentle rhythm of life at Green Gable Alpacas.

Wander through the farm’s open areas, watch our alpacas grazing in the fields, and trace the path from raw fleece to richly dyed yarn. Each week brings a new theme to explore — from fibre facts to feeding time — with our friendly team on hand to answer questions, share stories, and offer a window into life on a working fibre farm.

No reservations needed — just bring your curiosity, comfy shoes, and a love of all things alpaca

What to Expect

Alpaca Afternoons is a relaxed, self-guided drop-in experience offered Wednesdays from June to August, featuring a rotating weekly theme. Unlike our Tales of the Twist behind-the-scenes tour, these afternoons are casual and unstructured — perfect for those who prefer to explore at their own pace.

This event is offered rain or shine so dress for the weather when you plan your visit.

Please leave your pets elsewhere as we have no shade parking and pets are not permitted on the farm. Service animals are welcome in our shop but not permitted elsewhere on the property.
